Mehi River Dreaming is my skin name — given to me by my skin father, who taught me the art of Aboriginal painting and opened my eyes to the stories of his Country.

The landscapes, animals and people — these are the stories he shared with me, and this collection is my way of honoring him, his culture, and the knowledge he trusted me to carry.

At Mai Maori, we walk between worlds — celebrating both the Māori culture and the Aboriginal art that shaped who I have become. These designs are created with love, respect, and deep gratitude.
